Joëlle Dinnage named Finalist in the International Business Excellence Awards 2019

Winners to be announced in Dubai, 30th April 2019

12th March 2019: Joëlle Dinnage, Founder and CEO of the Global Art Agency has been named finalist in the Inspirational Female Leader category in the International Business Excellence Awards 2019, and will be going forwards to the grand finals and awards ceremony taking place in Dubai, UAE, on the 29th and 30th April 2019.

Now in their fifth year, the International Business Awards enable businesses to tell and get recognition for their success stories, with categories designed to provide recognition for companies as well as individuals implementing outstanding initiatives across the world. Alongside celebrating best practice, the awards offer a unique opportunity to network with and learn from other key players in different sectors from all over the globe.

Hundreds of companies and entrepreneurs compete annually to win one of the prestigious awards, which are supported by the Dubai Economy along with academic institutions and respected international thought-leaders. There are 23 different categories ranging from Corporate Social Responsibility, Employee Engagement and Sustainability to Wellbeing & Health.

Dinnage was shortlisted in one of the two individual categories, which also include Inspirational Male Leader, after convincing a panel of judges of her inspirational approach to doing business.

Like the 100 other category finalists, she earns the opportunity to go before an open panel of judges and make a 15 minute presentation on why she should win the title of Inspirational Female Leader at the finals taking place on 29th April 2019 at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, Dubai. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner the following evening, 30th April, at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City.

Born in the Netherlands, Dinnage is a successful entrepreneur and international art dealer and collector who first started selling art at just 13. She graduated from the Sint Lucas Art Academy, Boxtel, Netherlands with a degree in Art, Conceptual Design & Marketing before moving to the UK to launch her first successful art business in 2010.

She founded the Global Art Agency a year later and the business has become one of the fastest growing international art platforms. With offices in London and Dubai, the agency offers an all-round art network for artists, galleries, collectors and organisations through international exhibition opportunities. It holds The Global Art Awards, the ‘Oscars of the Visual Arts’, annually in Dubai.

“It’s a great honour to be named finalist in the International Business Excellence Awards and I am very much looking forward to the chance to convince the judges that I should be a winner,” says Joëlle Dinnage. “I am focused on bringing success to the region in UAE, giving artists a voice in other countries as well as supporting local artists to achieve recognition and sell their artwork worldwide. I have already achieved a great deal, but having the chance to share insights and work with other successful entrepreneurs through the unique format of the awards will be fantastic. I for one can’t wait,” she says.
